Ashwell House is a friendly, open and clean home environment, with home-cooked meals and daily housekeeping. We accept applications from female students aged between 18 and 25.

We operate a no smoking policy. The Ashwell House Handbook outlines all the and housekeeping rules which can be sent to prospective residents on request.

We welcome feedback from our residents and a QR code is included in our handbook.

Short stays

Ashwell House offers facilities for short term stays, conditional on room availability. Short term stays are limited to a maximum of four weeks during term time and six weeks off term.

The daily charge for a short stay is £50 for a single room.   As from 1^st June 2024 the daily charge will be £55.

If staying more than one week, the weekly charge is £300 for a single room.  As from 1^st June 2024 the weekly charge will be £350.

Ashwell House is a catered accommodation – hence this charge is inclusive of breakfast and dinner Monday to Friday, and brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday.

Ashwell House is a female-only hall of residence, accepting applications from women age 18 and above.

The short-term fee includes:

• Accommodation in individual study bedrooms
• Access to all facilities, including the library, computer room, common rooms and bike shed
• Breakfast and dinner on weekdays; brunch and dinner at weekends
• Bed linen and towel laundry service
